PROGRAM INFORMATION

Diabetes or prediabetes distress can cause feelings of overwhelm, frustration, or defeat. Examples of impacts from this distress include high blood pressure, high cholesterol or triglycerides, gut issues, anxiety, fatigue, brain fog, sleep issues such as sleep apnea, increased severity of symptoms of COVID-19 and other infections, and difficulty maintaining desired weight. The Integrative Mind-Body Diabetes & Nutrition Program below is designed to minimize risk by eating your favorite cultural foods and integrating current, research-based neuropsychological behavior changes and mindfulness techniques. The goal is to regulate blood sugars, reduce heart disease risks, and stabilize the high and low emotional rollercoaster that follows.
